Once you have decided upon which factoring type you would like to use whether it is invoice factoring or invoice discounting, you then have further options available to help tailor the service to meet your needs and that of your company.

You can choose from the options below:

Disclosed factoring

This means that in management of the monies owed by your customers, the factoring company will add their details onto the invoice and inform the customer that they will be collecting the payments on your behalf. This means that you do not need to involve yourself in the management and collection of your invoices and your customers are kept aware of the arrangement.

Confidential factoring

This means that your invoices will be collected from customers however, they will not need to be made aware of the factoring company's involvement. Some businesses prefer this so that their financial situation remains confidential and those customers don't become confused as to whom they should make a payment to.

Single debtor factoring

If you have only one customer who you would like your factoring company to manage, then this is also an option to you. This means that you will continue to manage and collect all other invoices owed to you by your customers however, a particular customer's invoices can be managed and collected for you. This can help if you know that you have customer who you would like to keep however is not someone who makes their payments on time.
